Building community through connection and action

At Gold Coast Rainbow Communities, our projects and passions are the heart of what we do. From sporting clubs and social events to fundraising and community partnerships, we are committed to creating spaces where LGBTIQA+ people can connect, thrive and feel a sense of belonging.

Team GCRC Tennis

Team GCRC is the Gold Coast's first gay tennis club. We are going strong for nearly two years now and we are the Gold Coast's longest-running LGBTIQA+ sporting group.

Join us every Tuesday night from 5:30pm to 8pm for a fun-filled social game of tennis. All levels and ages are welcome. Racquets can be hired from the clubhouse for a small fee and easygoing coaching is available every session.

Fundraising

We are a proudly volunteer-run, not-for-profit organisation that largely self-funds our events through fundraising. Every dollar raised goes directly back into supporting the LGBTIQA+ community on the Gold Coast.

Trans Clothes Swap Days

We regularly host Trans Clothes Swap Days, creating a supportive space for the trans community to connect, share clothing and build community. These events are free and open to all trans and gender-diverse people.
